Type: Hourly contract (Part-time / Full-time)
Compensation: $50-$55/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Translate, proofread, and edit content between Malay and English with high accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver language support across web content, marketing materials, and customer communications.
- Conduct detailed linguistic reviews and provide expert feedback to improve clarity and relevance.
- Ensure all communications align with brand voice and industry standards.
- Support development of glossaries and language resources for internal and external use.
- Provide cultural insights to enhance localization and local market engagement.
- Participate in remote meetings and contribute actively to project discussions.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Malay with excellent grammar, spelling, and stylistic control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience in translation, localization, or linguistics-related roles.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote environment.
- Strong research skills and adaptability across diverse content types.
- Familiarity with digital productivity and communication tools.
- Commitment to accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness.
