Aboutthe Role
We are looking for German and English bilingual speakers based in Asia to join a short‑term remote project supporting AI language development. In this role, you will listen to German audio recordings and transcribe them accurately. The recordings reflect natural, everyday speech across different accents, age groups, and speaking styles. Your work will help AI systems better understand real German voices.
This is a structured, task‑based project ideal for those who can consistently dedicate several hours per day and are comfortable working independently in a remote setup. If you’re comfortable working with audio, detail‑oriented, and can commit a few hours a day, this project is for you.
- Listen to audio clips and transcribe them clearly in German
- Split audio into appropriate sections based on natural speech flow
- Label speakers when more than one voice is present
- Add simple tags where required (e.g., gender, age range, emotion)
- Follow quality and annotation guidelines carefully
- Communicate and collaborate with the Project Manager
- Complete assigned tasks within the given timeline
- Fluent in German and English (required)
- Comfortable reading and writing in both German and English
- Strong listening skills with the ability to understand various German accents and speaking styles
- Should have B1/B2 proficiency or higher, with strong confidence in writing, listening, and reading
- Detail‑oriented and patient, able to maintain at least 95% accuracy
- Willing to ask questions when unsure
- Laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection
- Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines
