Norwegian Language Expert; Remote

One of our client is seeking a skilled Norwegian Language Expert to contribute to a variety of language and content projects. In this role, you will utilize your linguistic expertise to ensure high-quality Norwegian communication across different materials and platforms. The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing abilities, deep knowledge of Norwegian language usage, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.

Create, review, and edit Norwegian-language content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.

Maintain high linguistic standards across all written and verbal communications.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to localize and adapt content for Norwegian‑speaking audiences.

Conduct linguistic quality checks and provide feedback to improve content consistency.

Provide expert guidance on Norwegian language usage, grammar, and regional nuances.

Assist in developing language resources, style guides, and documentation for Norwegian content.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and deliver quality results.

Native or near‑native proficiency in Norwegian with strong written and spoken communication skills.

Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to linguistic accuracy and detail.

Background in linguistics, language studies, translation, or a related field.

Experience in content localization, translation, or language quality assurance.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication.

Professional experience as a translator, linguist, or language expert.

Familiarity with translation tools, terminology management systems, or localization platforms.

Understanding of Norwegian cultural context and market communication trends.
