Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition of Technical Best Practice at Homeprotect, forming technical guidelines & processes that underpin our claims handling approach
  • Ensure Homeprotect processes, including those executed by our supply chain, are compliant with the relevant technical regulation/legislation (Building Regulation, CDM, H&S etc)
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of Homeprotect's Schedule of Rates
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of Homeprotect's scoping philosophy
  • Monitor supply-chain compliance to Homeprotect's scoping philosophy and work with the Head of Supply Chain to improve compliance where necessary.
  • Provide eyes-on-site for our most complex claims when appropriate.
  • Undertake accompanied site visits with Homeprotect suppliers to embed best practice and ensure good outcomes
  • Act as a point of referral to resolve technical disputes efficiently.
  • Support the execution of Homeprotect's Large Loss Framework, building tailored action plans with members of the technical claims team.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including quarterly technical supplier audits
  • Provide technical insight that drives continuous improvement
  • Provide Training/Coaching support across the claims department and champion technical excellence
