English to Malay Translator (Vice Versa)
We are looking to hire translators with excellent grasp on  Malay  and English. This will be a full time remote position and is only open for linguists and translators with strong focus on translation and languages with atleast 3+ years of Industry Experience.

Qualifications
Native proficiency in  Malay   and English  with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
Minimum  3+ years of professional translation experience  in media, entertainment, localization, subtitling, dubbing, publishing, or related language services.
Strong understanding of cultural nuances, idioms, colloquialisms, and regional variations to ensure natural and contextually accurate translations.
Experience translating content such as videos, films, TV shows, educational content, podcasts, You Tube content, or digital media is highly preferred.
Ability to maintain consistency in terminology, tone, style, and brand voice across projects.
Familiarity with subtitling, dubbing adaptation, script translation, or localization workflows is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading and quality assurance skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines consistently.
Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Literature, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience with CAT tools, localization platforms, or AI-assisted translation workflows is an added advantage.

What you'll do at Dubpro

Translate content between  English ↔   Malay  while preserving meaning, tone, and cultural relevance.
Adapt content for dubbing, voice-over, and localization requirements when needed.
Review, edit, and proofread translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy and natural readability.
Collaborate with our language operations and quality teams to maintain high translation standards.
Contribute to large-scale multilingual dubbing and localization projects for leading media and content creators.
