Experienced French Translator

Position: Experienced French Translator Needed
Join our dynamic team as a French Translator with a focus on HR content. This hybrid position allows for a balance of on-site and remote work, 3 days in our Montreal office.

In this translating role, you'll turn English documents into French, serving the HR/Workday Program efficiently. Applicants should have 3+ years of experience and a translation degree. The work demands a flexible schedule due to coordination with a supervisor in Mongolia and an eye for detail in compliance with Quebec’s Bill 96 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate various HR and training materials into French

• Ensure compliance with client style guides and terminology

• Check translations for grammatical accuracy and readability

• Conduct background research to aid accurate translations

• Offer consecutive interpretation when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics or Translation

• Proficient in translation software and Microsoft applications

• 3-5 years relevant experience

• Excellent language skills in English and French

• Self-motivated with the capability to manage multiple tasks
