Join Lyric Find as a Lyric Analyst specializing in German music, offering a remote work model with office attendance twice a week. Drive the growth of our lyrics database by transcribing, editing, and translating music lyrics.
This full-time role, based in Toronto, calls for a bilingual expert fluent in both German and English. As part of our content team, you will be responsible for synchronizing lyrics, correcting database entries, and researching copyright information. Your excitement for music and linguistic skills will help us expand our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transcribe lyrics from German music recordings
• Edit and correct lyrics in our digital database
• Synchronize lyrics accurately with audio files
• Translate popular English songs into German
• Conduct research on music copyright information
Requirements:
• Fluency in German and English with strong grammar
• Fast typing skills for efficient lyrics handling
• Knowledge of contemporary German slang
• Familiarity with additional languages is a plus
