About the Opportunity
Mercor is hiring  Italian-speaking bilingual writers  to help capture and evaluate real, natural voice interactions with a next-generation AI assistant, in partnership with a leading AI lab.
In this role, you will use a specialized version of the application on your own Mac to complete everyday tasks through voice interactions, then document and evaluate the AI's responses in Italian and English as required.
Responsibilities
Use voice interactions to compose messages, emails, and notes across everyday applications.
Direct the AI assistant to perform tasks such as generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, and summarizing documents.
Accurately transcribe spoken queries and prepare cleaned-up transcripts.
Evaluate and rate AI-generated responses for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
Record task information in a structured tracking sheet.
Upload supporting voice recordings to a shared drive.
Follow project guidelines consistently and perform detailed quality reviews.
Provide reliable language and interaction data to support the development of natural, voice-driven AI systems.

Required Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Italian , with strong familiarity with Italian language and cultural context preferred.
Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions in  English .
Must own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3) .
Must be running  macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer .
Regular experience using common productivity applications, including email, messaging, documents, spreadsheets, and browsers.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transcription and data entry.
Comfortable with structured data entry and independent quality review.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong familiarity with everyday Italian communication and conversational language.

Experience with voice assistants, AI-powered applications, transcription, content evaluation, or quality assurance.
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow detailed workflows.
Ability to identify inconsistencies and maintain accurate task records.
Experience working with bilingual or multilingual content.

Eligibility
Applicants must have strong Italian language proficiency and meet the project's Italy/language requirements.

Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
Must be available for the full project duration.
