We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for bilingual psychologists with doctoral-level expertise, strong clinical and academic foundations, and native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English to contribute to advanced AI training and psychological evaluation initiatives.
Selected professionals will analyse psychological case materials, develop culturally appropriate bilingual scenarios, evaluate AI-generated content for psychological accuracy and ethical alignment, and help ensure nuanced psychological concepts remain faithful across Japanese and English. No prior AI experience is required; professional psychology expertise and bilingual communication are the primary qualifications.
Key Responsibilities Psychological Case Analysis & Assessment- Analyse psychological case studies and supporting documentation
- Evaluate psychological reasoning and interpretation for accuracy
- Identify inconsistencies, gaps, or inappropriate assumptions
- Apply professional judgement to complex psychological scenarios
- Provide detailed feedback grounded in psychological best practices
- Develop psychological scenarios in both Japanese and English
- Create culturally appropriate materials for AI training and evaluation
- Preserve psychological meaning across languages
- Refine terminology for linguistic and conceptual accuracy
- Support development of realistic bilingual case-based materials
- Review AI-generated psychological content for accuracy
- Assess outputs for ethical and professional appropriateness
- Identify misleading, incomplete, or culturally inappropriate responses
- Evaluate alignment with established psychological principles
- Provide structured recommendations for model improvement
- Apply cultural sensitivity when evaluating Japanese-language content
- Interpret psychological concepts across Japanese and English contexts
- Identify cultural assumptions affecting psychological interpretation
- Maintain fidelity when translating nuanced psychological terminology
- Support culturally responsive evaluation across diverse user scenarios
- Document evaluation methods, findings, and recommendations systematically
- Maintain clear records supporting transparency and reproducibility
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary research and technical teams
- Communicate psychological insights clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
- Contribute domain expertise to evolving evaluation processes and materials
- PhD in Psychology
- Demonstrated experience in both clinical and academic psychology settings
- Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English
- Strong command of psychological terminology in both languages
- Experience analysing psychological assessments and case studies
- Strong understanding of ethical decision-making in psychology
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to recognise cultural and contextual factors affecting psychological interpretation
- Experience developing or evaluating psychological scenarios and assessment materials
- Exceptional written communication skills in Japanese and English
- Strong verbal communication across professional and interdisciplinary settings
- Ability to translate nuanced psychological concepts without losing meaning
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability in multicultural environments
- Familiarity with digital collaboration and documentation tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required
- Independent contractor engagement
- Fully remote
- Compensation: $100–$200/hour
- Work will involve psychological case analysis, bilingual scenario development, AI-output evaluation, cultural review, and documentation
- Native or near-native Japanese and English proficiency is central to this engagement
- Clinical and academic psychology experience is strongly preferred
- Assignments may involve psychological assessments, case studies, evaluation frameworks, and bilingual training materials
- Contributors will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while applying independent professional judgement
- Project scope and evaluation materials may evolve depending on research requirements
- Strong attention to ethical, cultural, linguistic, and psychological accuracy is required
