Location: New York
Help improve next-generation AI systems by applying Malayalam language expertise to high-quality translation, localization, review, and language feedback.
Key Responsibilities- Translate and localize content between English and Malayalam while preserving accuracy, cultural context, and nuance.
- Review, edit, and proofread Malayalam materials for linguistic quality and consistency.
- Create and maintain Malayalam language resources, including glossaries and style guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing language insights that support business objectives.
- Train and mentor team members on Malayalam language best practices when needed.
- Optimize Malayalam content for digital channels, with attention to clarity and engagement.
- Provide feedback and process-improvement suggestions for Malayalam language work.
- Native or near-native written and spoken Malayalam proficiency, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong English skills for bilingual communication.
- Experience in Malayalam translation, localization, editing, proofreading, or content creation.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas accurately and clearly in writing and conversation.
- Strong collaboration and time-management skills for remote work.
- Ability to use translation or localization software and digital communication tools.
- Commitment to high-quality language work and interest in language and culture.
- A degree in Linguistics, Translation, Malayalam Literature, or a related field.
- Experience working with cross-cultural or international teams.
- Familiarity with Malayalam SEO or content-optimization strategies.
- Remote contract engagement.
- Full-time or part-time arrangements may be available.
$10 to $20 per hour.
