Finnish Transcriptionist AI Training

Help improve language technology by turning Finnish audio into accurate, high-quality transcription and linguistic data. This remote contract role focuses on producing real-world input that supports the training and evaluation of AI systems. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Transcribe Finnish audio recordings accurately and with close attention to detail.
• Annotate, segment, and label linguistic data according to project guidelines.
• Review and validate other contributors'' transcriptions for consistency and quality.
• Identify and flag ambiguous content, dialectal variations, and unclear audio for further review.
• Document transcription challenges and suggest improvements to project guidelines.
• Communicate in writing and verbally to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
• Complete assignments by agreed project timelines and milestones.

• Native-level Finnish proficiency, including familiarity with regional dialects and colloquial language.
• Experience with transcription, linguistics, or language-related projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow complex linguistic and project-specific guidelines.
• A responsive, proactive approach to remote collaboration.
• Familiarity with transcription platforms, linguistic annotation tools, or language datasets is a plus.
