Gikuyu-English Translator AI Training

Apply native Gikuyu language expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through accurate, culturally relevant linguistic input. This remote contract role focuses on translation, content quality, annotation, and language analysis. No previous AI experience is required.

• Translate written materials between English and Gikuyu while maintaining accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Review and edit Gikuyu content for grammar, style, tone, clarity, consistency, and integrity.
• Assess, annotate, and evaluate text data to support AI model development.
• Provide linguistic insights, recommendations, and feedback on language tools and resources.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to deliver high-quality work.
• Contribute to localization, data annotation, linguistic analysis, and other language-focused projects.

• Native Gikuyu proficiency with advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong English proficiency, including professional writing and editing skills.
• Experience creating, reviewing, and editing written content.
• Demonstrated ability to translate between English and Gikuyu.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

• Experience with linguistic data annotation or localization projects.
• Knowledge of linguistic principles or computational linguistics.
• Familiarity with AI technologies or digital content platforms.
