Urdu Transcriptionist AI Model Training

Apply your Urdu language expertise to high-accuracy transcription and linguistic annotation work that supports the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on converting spoken Urdu from audio and video into clear, faithful written transcripts, with careful attention to grammar, spelling, dialect, colloquial usage, and contextual nuance. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Transcribe Urdu audio and video content with a high degree of accuracy and attention to linguistic detail.
• Review and refine existing Urdu transcripts for clarity, consistency, and fidelity to the original spoken content.
• Annotate transcripts with required metadata, including speaker information, in accordance with project guidelines.
• Apply strong knowledge of Urdu grammar, spelling, regional language patterns, and contemporary colloquial expressions.
• Use digital transcription tools and established practices for working with multimedia content.
• Collaborate remotely with linguistic experts and project managers to resolve questions and improve transcription processes.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication throughout project interactions.
• Complete assigned transcription work according to required quality standards and project submission timelines.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Urdu.
• Strong command of regional Urdu dialects and contemporary usage.
• Experience with transcription, translation, or linguistic annotation projects, particularly involving Urdu, is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, error-free transcripts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear feedback and explanations.
• Familiarity with digital transcription tools and multimedia content workflows.
• Ability to use remote collaboration platforms to coordinate with other project participants.
• Adaptability and interest in language technology and data annotation work.

Remote contract engagement. Work is performed collaboratively with distributed project participants. Assignments and participation are tied to available project work and applicable project requirements.

Compensation ranges from $10 to $22 per hour.
