Working Hours:
9 hours per day, including a 1-hour break, based on the assigned time zone
We are looking for proficient Mandarin interpreters to join our team and facilitate effective communication between English-speaking healthcare professionals and patients who speak another language.
As a Medical Interpreter, you will help ensure accurate communication during medical consultations and other healthcare-related interactions while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate interpretation between English and Mandarin.
- Facilitate communication between healthcare professionals and patients through phone and/or video calls.
- Interpret medical terminology and conversations accurately, without adding, omitting, or changing information.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy standards.
- Remain neutral, professional, and impartial throughout every interaction.
- Follow established interpretation protocols and client procedures.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with strong speaking and listening skills.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain composed in sensitive situations.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.
- Ability to meet the technical requirements for remote interpretation.
