US Spanish Remote

Trans Perfect Connect is seeking highly fluent, professional bilingual speakers with experience using their language skills in a professional call center-style setting. Paid training is provided to launch a career as an Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreter (VRI), serving clients in healthcare, legal, and financial services. This is a structured, call center-style role conducted from home, with continuous live calls, strict interpretation protocols, neutrality, accuracy, and confidentiality.

• 1. Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish across industries (medical, legal, customer service, etc.)
• 2. Ensure complete accuracy, clarity, and neutrality, preserving tone, intent, and emotion
• 3. Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
• 4. Manage call flow professionally, including respectfully intervening when clarification is needed
• 5. Demonstrate emotional intelligence in high-pressure or emotionally charged interactions
• 6. Apply short-term memory retention, active listening, and note-taking techniques
• 7. Remain strictly within the interpreter's role without offering personal opinions or advice
• 8. Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and feedback sessions
• 9. Use basic computer tools (MS Office, internal platforms) to manage calls and log activity

• - High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
• - Fluency in English and Spanish, B2+ proficiency or higher
• - Ability to pass a language and interpreting skills assessment
• - Minimum 6 months of call center, customer service, or interpreting experience
• - Strong verbal communication, bilingual accuracy, and ethical decision making
• - Basic computer skills, including typing and MS Office navigation
• - Quiet, distraction-free workspace and stable home internet (cable, DSL, or fiber; no cellular or hotspot)
• - Pre-employment background check required

• - Certification in medical, legal, or community interpreting
• - Experience with remote work tools and communication platforms

• - Windows or Mac desktop/laptop with at least 16GB RAM, no older than 5 years, with working webcam
• - Windows 10 or newer / macOS Big Sur (11) or newer
• - Broadband internet, minimum 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload

• - Four weeks of paid training (on-site or remote)
• - Role-play simulations and coaching by certified interpreters

This is a remote position but not a flexible role. Interpreters follow a pre-published, variable schedule, remain at their workstation, and handle continuous back-to-back calls. Breaks and lunch are assigned by Workforce Management.
