- Listen to authentic air traffic control (ATC) radio transmissions and accurately transcribe audio following detailed project guidelines.
- Extract and document key flight instructions, including headings, altitudes, and radio frequencies.
- Reference supporting materials such as airport diagrams, navigational charts, and aircraft positioning data to ensure precise transcription and annotation.
- Apply aviation experience to interpret diverse communication styles, accents, and operational contexts commonly encountered in real-world ATC.
- Contribute feedback for ongoing improvements to guidelines, processes, and AI understanding of ATC communications.
Requirements
- Active or former professional pilot with substantial experience in real-world flight operations.
- Fluency in English, with proven ability to interpret and communicate complex ATC instructions.
- Experience operating internationally and understanding a variety of regional and non-native English accents.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured annotation and transcription protocols.
- Comfort using digital tools, reference materials, and high-quality audio equipment in a remote setting.
