We are seeking a Contract Attorney to join our firm on a part-time basis to support our deposition practice and mass tort litigation efforts.

Position Overview

The Contract Attorney plays a vital role in representing firm clients at remote depositions, conducting witness examinations, and preparing detailed deposition summaries. This position offers flexibility with fully remote work while maintaining high standards of legal representation and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Deposition Management:

• Represent firm clients at remote depositions
• Conduct cross-examinations of witnesses
• Maintain accurate records of proceedings
• Coordinate with firm attorneys and staff regarding case strategies

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Illinois law license required
• Missouri law license preferred but not required
• Mass tort litigation experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Capability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with the team
• Proficiency in remote work technologies and legal software platforms
• Fully remote position
• Flexible schedule with approximately 10-15 hours per week
• Must be available for scheduled remote depositions
