Litigation Attorney

The Louisville, KY office of Dentons is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join our growing practice. The successful candidate will work in one of the premier Litigation practices on interesting and sophisticated matters from commencement to final resolution. The ideal candidate will be experienced with handling litigation matters, intelligent, hardworking, an excellent writer, thoughtful, driven, and personable. Judicial clerkship experience is not required, but highly desired.

The position will include a mix of in-office and remote work depending on case and workload demands.

Recommended credentials include the following:

• 3-5+ years of litigation experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills
• Commitment to team work and excellent client service including the ability to understand client objectives and seek creative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build a consensus
• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation on a day-to-day basis including the ability to draft pleadings, propound and respond to written discovery, gather relevant/requested information from the client, draft and argue substantive motions and briefs, and defend/take fact witness depositions with limited supervision
• Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
