Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate for a nationally respected law firm known for its expertise in insurance defense, complex litigation, and appellate advocacy. This role is fully remote but requires residency in Orange County or San Francisco, California.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

An established law practice is seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join their growing team. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of complex civil litigation matters, working in a dynamic and inclusive environment that values thoughtful legal strategy and client advocacy. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex civil litigation and insurance defense matters
• Draft and respond to discovery with a focus on strategic case development
• Conduct and prepare for depositions and court appearances

• Maintain proactive communication with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation and insurance defense
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Confidence in managing case strategy and courtroom preparation
• Commitment to ethical and client-centered legal advocacy
• Active license to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.
