Senior Associate Attorney - Tax & Transactional

Overview

Teeple Hall, LLP is seeking a motivated, experienced and engaging Senior Associate Attorney with 7+ years of experience in tax planning and corporate and transactional law. This position will support our Corporate & Transactional and Private Client Practice Groups on an array of matters involving tax planning (income, estate and international tax), entity formation and governance for both business and private clients, M&A transactions and extensive work on corporate and business transactions.

• Work Experience – 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Education – 90th percentile, graduating class

• Required:
• LL.M. Taxation
• Licensed in California
• Required – experience in:
• Federal and State income tax planning
• Corporate and Partnership transactions (Operating Agreements, Bylaws, Promissory Notes, etc.)
• Mergers & Acquisition transactions (corporate and tax planning)
• Preferred – experience in:
• Estate & Gift tax planning (domestic and pre-immigration planning)
• Soft Intellectual Property (trademarks / copyrights)
• International tax matters (international income and estate tax planning)
• Federal and State tax controversy matters
• Enhancements:
• Big 4 and large law firm experience
• Licensed in Texas
