About the Role

Join Nationwide Trial Division, a national team of seasoned litigators dedicated to delivering extraordinary care. As a Senior Trial Attorney
, you’ll represent clients under commercial and personal lines insurance policies, handling diverse cases across Upstate New York. This is a fully remote position with frequent travel to venues in Buffalo and Rochester.

• Serve as lead counsel in civil litigation matters involving property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation.
• Provide strategic case valuations and timely updates to clients and claims teams.
• Utilize advanced trial advocacy skills and maintain awareness of evolving laws and technology.
• Mentor junior attorneys and foster collaboration across the Nationwide Trial Division.
• Demonstrate proactive case management, strong work ethic, and exceptional communication skills.

• Education: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Experience: 8+ years of civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation.
• Licensing: Active license in New York.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and legal research skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in law and technology; highly collaborative and organized.

• First-Party Medical / PIP / New York No-Fault
• Examinations Under Oath (Claimant & Medical Providers)
• Multi-claim investigations;
