We’re seeking experienced litigation attorneys with backgrounds in family law, civil litigation, or criminal defense. You should be confident in the courtroom, strategic in your approach, and motivated to manage your own caseload with autonomy. You’ll have the chance to help shape our firm’s future while advancing your own career.

• Manage a diverse caseload in your primary area(s) of practice
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and mediations
• Strategize, negotiate, and advocate to achieve the best outcomes for your clients
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlements
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys, intake, and paralegal staff to drive efficiency and results
• Optionally mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm-wide improvement initiatives
• Participate in business development or community engagement if desired

• Licensed to practice in Maine (or sitting for the next bar exam)
• 3 years of litigation experience strongly preferred (open to candidates with more or less depending on fit)
• Strong courtroom presence, legal writing, and client communication skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team setting
• Familiarity with civil procedure, criminal rules, and/or family law standards in Maine
