Associate Attorney – Litigation

Overview

Associate Attorney – Litigation at Paul Frank + Collins P.C. (Burlington, Vermont) seeks an attorney to join a busy and wide‑ranging litigation practice. The ideal candidate has excellent academic credentials and two to four years of litigation experience, including some courtroom and deposition experience.

• Manage pleadings, motions, discovery, and other aspects of litigation as part of a team.
• Conduct legal research under deadlines and clearly express legal concepts.
• Interact verbally and in writing with clients, client representatives, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare and participate in depositions and courtroom appearances as required.
• Travel as needed to courthouses and proceedings where cases are pending.

• Two to four years of litigation experience; some courtroom and deposition experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the Vermont Bar; open to becoming licensed in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or New York.
• Strong research, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to living and working in Vermont.
• Ability to travel and work in person as required; some hybrid/remote work is possible.

• Competitive compensation commensurate with experience; estimated salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 before bonus.
