Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense

A law firm seeks litigation attorneys at various experience levels to join their team in Park City, Utah, with a future move to Salt Lake City. The firm specializes in complex insurance defense matters, offering hybrid or fully remote work options for qualified candidates.

• Manage or support insurance defense cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct or assist with depositions and hearings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and claims professionals.
• Contribute to trial preparation and strategy.
• Supervise and mentor associates and support staff (for senior candidates).

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in Utah.
• Insurance defense experience required (except for junior applicants).
• Background in trucking/transportation law is a plus.
• 1-10+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, organization, and communication skills.
• First-chair trial experience preferred for senior applicants.
• Ability to work independently and within a hybrid/remote team.
