Associate Attorney

Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Personal Injury team. The role plays a pivotal part in advocating for our clients’ rights and delivering outstanding legal services.

Base Pay Range

$/yr - $/yr

Work Schedule

Hybrid schedule with at least 2-3 days in office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Make court appearances as necessary.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Alabama.
  • 2+ years of experience in litigation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office products.
  • Proficiency with E-Discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, Case Anywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, File Vine, and One Legal.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, team player, reliable, capable of multitasking and managing several time‑critical projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
