This is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Defense Attorney, based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of civil defense matters, provide legal analysis and advice, conduct research, draft legal documents, and represent clients during negotiations and court proceedings. While the role is primarily based in Los Angeles, some remote work flexibility will be available.

• Expertise in Law and experience in Civil Defense, including knowledge of relevant legal standards and procedures
• Strong foundation in Tort Law, as well as Legal Advice providing capabilities
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive legal Research to support case strategy
• Excellent Negotiation skills to represent and protect clients' interests effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in legal drafting
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively under deadlines
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the California State Bar
• Prior experience in corporate or insurance defense law is preferred
