Sexual Abuse Litigation Paralegal (California) — Remote / Hybrid / On-site
We represent survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault nationwide. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build a case engine designed for trial-ready standards and a survivor-centered, trauma-informed approach.
This role requires at least 3 years of sexual abuse/sexual assault litigation paralegal experience and true end-to-end ownership across pre-litigation, litigation, settlement, and trial preparation.

Work Location & Travel
Remote is available for candidates residing in California. Hybrid/on-site arrangements may be available depending on candidate needs and operational requirements. Travel may be required for major case events.
What You Will Own (Case Engine)
- Manage matters end-to-end: pre-suit through litigation, settlement, and trial prep
- Maintain calendars, deadlines, task routing, and standardized checklists
- Drive records strategy and tracking (medical, therapy, institutional and related sources)
- Draft and manage discovery, subpoenas, deposition and trial materials
- Build demand/settlement packages with strong evidence organization
- Coordinate with attorneys, client advocates, and investigators to keep cases moving
- Communicate professionally and trauma-informed with clients as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and boundaries
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- 3+ years sexual abuse/sexual assault litigation paralegal experience
- Proven experience managing cases through pre-litigation, litigation, settlement, and trial prep
- Exceptional organization, discretion, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Complex plaintiff sexual abuse institutional liability background
- Trial prep experience (preferred)
- E-filing experience (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, not required
Compensation: Above-market for paralegals with proven end-to-end sexual abuse case ownership; aggressively benchmarked and can exceed market based on experience, responsibility, and performance
