A law firm seeks an experienced and motivated Attorney for its Birmingham, Alabama office. The Counsel will focus on Personal Injury practice and regular litigation in state and federal courts, playing a pivotal role in advocating for clients' rights and delivering outstanding legal services.

• Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
• Perform legal research and make court appearances as necessary.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law.
• Able to manage and oversee cases independently.
• 10+ years of experience in litigation;
  Personal Injury, product and premise liability, medical malpractice experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, Case Anywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, File Vine, and One Legal.
• Detail-oriented, organized, team player, reliable, capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law.

• Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook.
• Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, Case Anywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, File Vine, One Legal.
