Salary included. This role supports a legal team by managing case files, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and ensuring filings and paperwork are processed efficiently. A proactive approach to case management and a strong understanding of legal processes are important to contribute to the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information from statutes, case law, legal articles, and regulations.
  • Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs. Assist in preparing documents for court filings.
  • Organize and maintain case files, manage deadlines, and track ongoing legal proceedings. Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain information, provide updates on case status, and assist with answering routine questions.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances and trials, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence.
  • Handle other tasks as assigned by attorneys or supervisors to ensure the efficient operation of the legal team.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field;
    Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis Nexis) and document management systems.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with clients and court personnel.
  • Ability to review and organize detailed documents with accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Additional Requirements & Compliance
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
  • Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results.
