Senior Family Law Paralegal – Remote Opportunity
Cowlitz Law Group PLLC, an established and innovative family law firm serving Washington State, seeks an experienced Senior Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. This fully remote position provides the flexibility to work from any location worldwide while supporting complex family law cases requiring expertise, precision, and ethical responsibility. Candidates with substantial experience in Washington State family law, especially King County, are encouraged to apply.
CompensationBase Salary: Starting at $68,000 annually.
Performance-Based
Incentives:
Additional compensation up to $100,000 annually, contingent on achieving measurable performance goals.
- Fully remote position allowing flexibility in location.
- Clearly defined supervision protocols, including regular virtual check-ins and consistent attorney oversight, ensuring compliance with firm policies.
- Robust confidentiality measures in place, including secure, encrypted communications and document storage.
- Draft, review, and finalize motions adhering strictly to court requirements.
- Draft interrogatories, coordinate depositions, and manage discovery documentation with accuracy.
- Assemble trial binders, organize exhibits, coordinate witness preparation, and support attorneys during trial proceedings.
- Guide junior paralegals and administrative staff within clearly defined delegation boundaries.
- Professionally communicate with clients, explicitly identifying your role as a paralegal under attorney supervision.
- Conduct detailed legal research on family law issues to support attorney strategies.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in family law within Washington State, with a strong preference for King County experience.
- Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in motions, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and legal research.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills managing multiple simultaneous cases and meeting strict deadlines.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff within a structured supervision framework.
- Ethical Standards: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to WSBA, RPC, and ABA guidelines.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with advanced case management systems and secure remote communication tools.
