As a Trial Attorney you’ll handle bodily injury, property damage lawsuits, and more, with thrilling trials, arbitrations, and mediations. You’ll also provide vital counsel to business clients and coordinate with legal teams. Stay ahead of the game by monitoring new laws and regulations, ensuring our strategies remain sharp.

• Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict, including initial case assessment, discovery, depositions, motion practice, pre‑trial negotiations, courtroom advocacy, and post‑trial motions.
• Gather and organize documents, evidence, and legal research for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents; prepare summaries and reports.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Interview clients and witnesses, draft summaries of statements, and maintain communication records.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings to observe and assist as needed; may represent the company or clients in routine matters.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update the legal team on potential impacts.
• Participate in training sessions and mentorship programs to develop legal skills and gain exposure to complex work.

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.

• Entry‑level to early‑career experience in trial advocacy.
• Successful completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Strong time‑management skills, effectively balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Capability to organize case files, manage documents, and understand the discovery process.

$105,000 – $118,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
