Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time role for an Associate Attorney, located in Gilbert, AZ with flexibility for remote work. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for researching, writing, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, conducting hearings and trials in various courts, and providing legal advice and counsel to clients.

- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
- Preferred two years of experience practicing criminal defense law
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Experience in trials and hearings in various courts in Arizona
- Solid understanding of Arizona criminal law and procedure
- Ability to think critically and strategically, and to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills
- Passionate about justice and committed to providing high‑quality representation to clients
- Military Veteran Preferred
- Former Prosecutor Preferred
- Strong legal drafting and writing skills
- Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw, Lexis‑Nexis, and other resources
- Ability to litigate cases effectively in court
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities
