This is a full‑time hybrid role for a General Counsel, based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area with occasional remote work flexibility. The General Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance and manage corporate legal matters including distressed real estate matters such as short sales, negotiations and workouts with creditors.

• Strong knowledge of legal issues and the ability to draft, review, and negotiate with creditors
• Experience in providing proactive legal advice to organizational leadership and mitigating potential risks
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and corporate governance
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in appropriate jurisdiction(s)
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks and priorities in a hybrid environment
• Experience in real estate law or investment sectors is highly desirable
