Associate Attorney: Real Estate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel and support on a wide range of real estate transactions and matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position offers flexibility with remote work, requiring in-office presence every other week
.

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and related documents.
• Advise on property acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development projects.
• Conduct title reviews, resolve title issues, and coordinate closings.
• Ensure compliance with Florida real estate laws and regulations.
• Provide legal guidance on zoning, land use, and permitting matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to facilitate transactions.
• Conduct client consultations as needed for real estate matters in a professional and courteous manner.
• Document all consultations in our CRM system (MyCase), including detailed notes, tasks to move the case forward, billing requests, and any other pending items related to the consultation.
• Meet or exceed revenue and production goals by effectively managing billable hours, timely invoicing, and ensuring accurate billing entries for all client work.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate operations.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing (required).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in real estate law, including transactional work.
• Strong knowledge of Florida real estate statutes and regulations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

• Experience with commercial real estate transactions.
• Familiarity with title insurance and closing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Remote work with required travel to the office once every other week
