What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda
- Render opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department
- Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery, including depositions and examinations under oath
- Defend assigned matters by trial or dispositive hearing as applicable
- Document files in a clear, concise, and professional manner for various stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense or personal injury
- Juris Doctor degree
- Admission to the California Bar and licensed in good standing
- Ability to travel as required for trials, hearings, and meetings
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow complex instructions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in civil litigation
- Background in insurance defense-related litigation
- Professional communication skills in person, via phone, and in written correspondence
