Private Immigration Solicitor
— Position Overview
You will manage a busy private immigration caseload, handling complex applications and appeals across a wide range of immigration and asylum matters. The role requires a confident practitioner who can work independently while delivering high standards of client care.
Key Responsibilities of the Private Immigration Solicitor.
* Manage a full private immigration caseload from instruction to conclusion.
* Handle complex immigration applications, including nationality and asylum matters.
* Prepare and conduct immigration appeals.
* Draft detailed representations, witness statements and legal submissions.
* Advise clients on immigration options, risks and outcomes.
* Liaise with courts, tribunals, Home Office and counsel as required.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Requirements of the Private Immigration Solicitor
* Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Immigration Caseworker.
* Immigration & Asylum Accreditation (would be a benefit).
* Strong experience handling complex immigration and asylum cases.
* Appeals experience essential.
* Excellent drafting, advocacy and client care skills.
* Ability to manage caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.
