The City Attorney’s Office for the City of North Port, Florida, has an immediate opening and is seeking an experienced Assistant City Attorney to join its collegial legal team. In-office and remote work available.
The City seeks candidates who have the ability to work well with the City Attorney’s legal team and can earn the trust and respect of the City’s many departments. Interested applicants must have a Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience as a practicing attorney.
Ideal candidates will have a diverse experience in many local government practice areas, duties will vary but will concentrate on local government procurement and transactional practice. Other relevant experience in the government or private sector is welcome.
The City is offering a competitive annual salary range of $108,000 – $171,000 based on qualifications and experience, and an excellent benefit package.
