Civil Litigation Attorney

A growing national civil litigation defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of relevant experience to join its expanding insurance defense/general liability practice groups in Richmond, Virginia. This role is currently FULLY REMOTE!!!! Must be located in Richmond.

The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Virginia
(no exceptions) and have experience handling a broad range of civil litigation matters. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation from rapid response investigations and case evaluations to discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Associates are given meaningful responsibility early on and are encouraged to think strategically to achieve client objectives.

The firm represents a diverse roster of domestic and international insurance carriers as well as major private clients, providing a dynamic mix of casework and exposure to complex, high-stakes matters. • 1–5 years of relevant litigation experience
• Active Virginia Bar license (required)
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Prior experience in insurance defense or insurance coverage preferred
• Familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines a plus
