We are looking for an assertive, ambitious, kind, and outgoing team member to begin working full‑time for our fast‑growing plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm. The right candidate will work within a team of one associate lawyer, a litigation paralegal, and a pre‑litigation paralegal.
We use File Vine as a case management system and various software automation to make our team's lives easier. We're a mostly paperless firm.
Benefits include unlimited paid vacation & sick time, access to 401(k), access to firm health insurance, remote & flexible working schedules, access to a performance‑based four‑day work‑week after 90 days on staff, and periodic bonuses.
Compensation: $45,000-$58,000 annually, or ~$22-$27/hour + quarterly performance bonuses
Responsibilities- Support paralegals by being the first point of task delegation
- Collecting and organizing evidence for disclosures and trial exhibits
- Scheduling attorney meetings with witnesses, experts, and clients
- Hiring expert witnesses
- Redacting and summarizing medical records and trial exhibits
- Researching tasks (pre‑litigation & litigation)
- Scheduling and noticing depositions
- Drafting letters of representation
- Ordering medical records
- Assisting with settlement package drafting
- Comfortable learning new technologies and software
- Excellent reading, writing, and people skills
- Empathy for personal injury victims
- Client and team‑oriented
- Possessing personal grit for dealing with stressful and time‑sensitive events in litigation and trial

After a 90‑day probationary period, benefits for full‑time employees include unlimited paid vacation and sick time, access to 401(k), access to firm health, dental, vision, life, and short- and long‑term disability insurances, remote and flexible working schedules, and significant quarterly performance bonuses on top of your salary, depending on overall firm performance. For part‑time employees, four‑day work weeks are not available.
