The salary range for this position is $45,877.84 to $69,484.11 for Schedule A, and $45,877.84 to $62,203.88 for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule
A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 21, 2014, are considered Schedule

The Burlington Vicinage, Criminal Division, is seeking self-starters interested in performing a variety of clerical and other support functions in connection with proceedings instituted before courts or programs administered under the supervision of the courts, in support of the business operations of such courts, and as contact representatives for clients and customers or users of the services provided by the New Jersey Courts.
REMOTEWORK
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
- Verifying records and documents for accuracy, completeness and conformity
- Reviewing and docketing complaints, motions and other legal documents
- Reviewing cases and annotating calendars in advance to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Participating as an active member of a supportive team
- Writing case notes, maintaining files and scheduling court events
- Reviewing legal complaints and documents for completeness and accuracy
- Answering inquiries from the public, attorneys and various stakeholders, and work closely with other divisions.
- Explaining Judiciary policies and procedures to the public, attorneys and various stakeholders
- Operating recording equipment (Court Smart)
- Creating detailed log sheets
- Recording and producing court orders using court systems to provide requested information to court officials during proceedings.
- Marking exhibits, maintaining evidence and evidence logs
- Swearing in witnesses
- Performs related duties as required
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
