The Clackamas County District Attorney's Office serves more than 400,000 people in the third most populous county in Oregon. The mission of the District Attorney's Office is to provide leadership, accountability, and high‑quality service in a fair and just manner so that those who live, work, and play in Clackamas County can enjoy a safe and livable community.

Annual Pay Range: $ – $
Hourly Pay Range: $48.37 – $59.23
Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate's experience that is directly relevant to the position.
Benefits become effective the first of the month following an employee's date of hire. At least
- 16 hours of vacation accrual per month; new hires can front‑load the first year of accruals in compliance with local policy.
- 8 hours of sick accrual per month.

- Some remote work is allowed after the probationary period.
- Navigate the court system efficiently and professionally, representing the entire office.
- Prepare witnesses for trial and conduct jury selection and trial presentation.
- Negotiate plea offers and, when negotiations fail, prosecute cases at trial.
- Review criminal cases, decide whether to charge and determine appropriate charges.
- Advocate for what is ethically, morally, and legally right throughout the entire caseload from charging to sentencing.
- Law Degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership with the Oregon State Bar, eligible for and have applied for reciprocity, and meeting the supervised practice portfolio examination program requirements.
- Must submit to a reference check and pass post‑offer, pre‑employment drug test.
- Must pass a criminal history check, including national or state fingerprint records check and CJIS Certification.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
