Job Title: Employment Litigation Associate (single-plaintiff FEHA cases)

Location: California - Remote flexibility offered, but must be local to CA, with occasional in-office appearances in one of the law firm’s offices:
Irvine, Los Angeles, Ontario, Oxnard, San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, Carlsbad, San Diego, Walnut Creek.

Compensation: Base salary of $ - $ (commensurate with experience, targeting 1-5 years of experience), plus bonus

Billing / hours: 1900

This position focuses primarily on managing single-plaintiff cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in employment litigation and exceptional writing skills.

• Manage single-plaintiff FEHA cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
• Conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written deliverables.
• Represent the law firm’s clients primarily in state court, with some federal court involvement.
• Address occasional wage and hour issues related to FEHA cases.
• Communicate effectively with the law firm’s clients and opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.

• Active California Bar license required.
• Experience in employment litigation, with a focus on FEHA cases.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with the law firm’s team.
• Familiarity with federal employment laws is advantageous but not required.
