If you’re an experienced Private Client lawyer looking to join a supportive, well-established team where you’ll be trusted to get on with the job, this is a brilliant opportunity.

This Sheffield-based firm has built a strong reputation across Yorkshire and is known for its personal, long-standing approach to client service. You’ll be working closely with a STEP-qualified private client specialist and the rest of the down-to-earth, collaborative team.

You’ll inherit a full and varied caseload including wills, probate (including taxable estates), and some Court of Protection and deputyship matters. While STEP qualification isn’t required, you’ll be encouraged and supported if you want to pursue it, and the same goes for the SQE route. What matters most is solid experience and a good fit for the team.

Who we’re looking for

• Strong probate and estate administration experience
• Ability to manage a varied private client caseload with minimal supervision
• Confident, clear communicator with a client-first mindset
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Experience with deputyship work
• STEP-qualified or working towards
• 5+ years’ PQE
• Ambition to grow and progress
