REMOTE Sr. Commercial Litigation Counsel

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other critical legal documents.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to safeguard client interests.
• Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
• Advise clients on legal risks and business strategies related to litigation matters.
• Oversee discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar License in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4-9 years of experience in commercial litigation and business disputes.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Experience with broker-dealer disputes, securities matters, and regulatory enforcement actions.
• Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms.
• Knowledge of current legal trends and developments in commercial litigation.
