A well-established and highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Solicitor to join its growing Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level employment lawyer (Senior Associate or Partner) who is looking to take a leadership role and shape the future of an Employment practice in the North West.

This role offers the chance to lead and further develop the firm's Employment offering in Manchester, working closely with an established national Employment team while having genuine autonomy to grow the local practice. For candidates joining at Senior Associate level, there is a clear and realistic pathway to Partnership, supported by the firm's long-term growth strategy.

You will report directly to the Head of Employment, while also playing a key role in mentoring and managing junior lawyers. The firm places a strong emphasis on collaboration, quality of work and long-term client relationships.

• Leading the Employment Law practice in Manchester and contributing to its strategic growth
• Advising HR teams, senior management and boards on a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Handling Employment Tribunal litigation, including complex and high-value claims
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on client retention and business development
• Leveraging an established professional network in the Manchester market to generate new instructions
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of the Employment team
• Playing an active role in enhancing the firm's profile and brand in the region

• 10+ years' PQE as an Employment Solicitor
• Strong technical experience across advisory and Employment Tribunal work
• Demonstrable business development capability and client-facing confidence
• An existing network of professional and commercial contacts in the Manchester area
• Commercially minded, ambitious and keen to play a leadership role
• Suitable for Senior Associate or Partner level
