About Us

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. We are looking for an Associate Attorney - Landlord/Tenant to join our fast‑paced Business Real Estate Group in our San Diego or Concord office.

Compensation

$150k‑$225k/annually DOE + Bonus

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal representation to clients, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario and counseling clients appropriately.
  • Respond to client concerns to increase and retain business.
  • Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to increase the firm’s visibility in the community and within the industry.
  • Develop executive‑level client confidence to retain current firm clients.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful working environment.
  • Represent the firm internally and externally.
  • Other duties as needed to support the legal and management goals of the department.
Qualifications
  • J.D. and an active California Bar license.
  • 2+ years of experience as a licensed California attorney, specifically in landlord/tenant law.
  • Demonstrated experience in residential real estate and unlawful detainer law.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics.
  • Ability to multi‑task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Affordable Housing experience.
  • Experience with the California Tenant Protection Act and/or rent control ordinances.
  • Experience with Pro Law or other billing and document management program.
Schedule

Position is full‑time, exempt. Business hours are 8:30 am‑5:30 pm Monday‑Thursday, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm Friday. We currently offer an in‑office/hybrid/remote work model for select positions within the Firm.
