Position Summary
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced employment defense attorney to join our EEO Advantage Administrative Charges team as a Special Counsel attorney. The Special Counsel attorney will focus on handling administrative charges before federal, state and local agencies, including investigation, assessment and development of risk strategies, client interaction and preparation of persuasive position statements.
The Special Counsel attorney will not have a billable hour requirement for this role and will have a flexible part-time schedule with the ability to work from home. Opportunities for a full-time position may be available. Candidates who apply should have extensive experience in preparing position statements in connection with large law firm or in-house practice.
Please note, a writing sample is required to be considered for the Special Counsel role. A redacted position statement is strongly preferred at the time of submission.
This position may be remote, but the successful candidate must reside in a state where the firm has a physical office.

Requirements- Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must reside in, remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employment. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
- 10+ years of recent experience preparing position statements required, either in-house or at a large law firm.
- Significant management-side labor & employment experience required.
- Superior analytical and writing skills required.

BenefitsIn accordance with various state laws, the expected salary range for this position is provided per completed Position Statement. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
