The company delivers services on a unified “One Platform” from one provider. Hibu’s headquarters are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with offices in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, and Columbus, Ohio.

We are looking for an experienced attorney to join us as Associate Counsel, reporting to our General Counsel. Hibu operates a hybrid work model; the work week includes days in the office and days working from home. Preference is given to candidates who reside within commuting distance of Cedar Rapids or King of Prussia.

• Contracts: Consult with stakeholders across Commercial, Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and work with Procurement in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Employment bestuur: Advise on multi‑jur hånd employment matters including hiring, performance management, leaves, accommodations, terminations, restrictive covenants, wage and hour, and privacy.
• Litigation and Claims: Manage litigation and claims, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, overseeing document production, and managing outside counsel.
• Intellectual Property: Advise on protecting the company’s copyright and trademark rights, licensing third‑party IP, and responding to copyright and trademark inquiries.
• Privacy: Advise on data privacy and security matters—CCPA, TCPA, CAN‑SPAM, HIPAA, and other federal and state privacy laws; maintain policies and procedures; respond/utilize privacy rights requests; advise on emerging GenAI regulations.
• Regulatory: Advise on federal and state advertising, marketing, competition, and unfair trade practice laws.

• J.D. '` from an accredited law school.
• Member of the bar in your state of residence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Effective time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–15 days per year.
