LHH is assisting a law firm in Springfield, Missouri in their search for an ambitious Commercial Transactions Associate Attorney
. This role offers hands‑on experience, meaningful client interaction, and a robust mentorship program designed to accelerate growth for early‑career and experienced attorneys alike.

• Meet with prospective and existing clients and manage ongoing communications
• Draft, negotiate, and revise commercial transaction documents; assist with closings
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and notices for state and federal courts
• Conduct legal research and draft concise research memorandums
• Prepare deposition summaries and perform investigatory research
• Draft real estate, entity formation, and corporate governance documents
• Support and, as assigned, conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

• JD and active license to practice law
• Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent organization and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw)
• High integrity, discretion with confidential matters, and a collaborative, self‑starting mindset

• Standard business hours with occasional flexibility to meet client and matter needs
• Partial remote work may be considered after one year, subject to policy
