Location: Delaware

Work Arrangement: Remote, with occasional travel for court appearances, trials, and some depositions

Pay Range: $76.00 - $80.00/hour

Must be licensed to practice law in Delaware

Summary: Seeking a Senior Trial Attorney for a short-term role in Delaware. This position is fully remote but requires some statewide travel for court appearances and depositions. Ideal candidates have experience in insurance defense, personal injury litigation, or similar areas. Work includes cases involving auto liability, bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, and general liability. Strong skills in litigation, arbitration, depositions, and file management are essential.

• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, arbitrations, and litigation matters
• Handle cases involving torts, auto liability, bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, and general liability
• Manage caseload effectively
• Assume roughly half of incoming files during onboarding
• Full Capacity:
  Approximately 70–85 files (varies by business need)
• Prepare for trials (though trial frequency is not high)
• Collaborate with a small legal team (2 attorneys total, including this role)

• Courtroom advocacy and trial preparation
• Strong deposition and arbitration experience
• Litigation expertise in personal injury and insurance defense
• Caseload and file management skills

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant legal experience

• Staff Counsel or Insurance Defense (Personal Injury) experience preferred
• Candidates from State Attorney’s Offices may also be successful
